This is the regular meeting of the Hunt County Commissioners Court. This meeting is open to the public, and any citizen may speak for a maximum of 3 minutes at the beginning of this meeting. Their agenda includes an “action item” stating “A resolution supporting the development of a private toll road extending from Lavon, Texas to Hunt County, Texas – John L. Horn” that will be discussed and action taken. EVERYONE should contact their commissioner on Monday and let them know that you do not support this resolution. They are elected TO SERVE YOU! Let them know how you feel. Our commissioner did not even know about this project when we called him a couple of weeks ago.
